British Barclays Bank has ceased to maintain the exchange Coinbase cryptocurrency, according to CoinDesk, citing sources.
To continue working in the UK Coinbase has already begun to cooperate with ClearBank, however, the changes affected the ease of use of the services of the exchange, said the sources.
Barclays allow customers Coinbase to work with the British payment system Faster Payments for instant Deposit/withdraw Fiat. After relations with Barclays Coinbase no longer have access to the payment system and Fiat remittances on the exchange now take a few days. It is expected that cooperation with ClearBank will return a Coinbase user access to the system Faster Payments until the end of the third quarter.
Coinbase opened an account in Barclays in early 2018. The exchange also received a license from the office of financial regulation and supervision in the UK for the provision of services in the field of electronic payments and became the first cryptomeria started to use Faster Payments.
Reports of the suspension system support Faster Payments for the implementation of Fiat transfers to Coinbase appeared in July.
