Problems in the Amazon has led to failures in major cryptocurrency exchanges

On Friday, problems in the popular service of cloud computing Amazon AWS led to the disruption of several major cryptocurrency exchanges, including Binance and KuCoin.

Exchange KuCoin also reported problems with AWS services hosted in Tokyo.

The engineering team is already working on extra capacity for high availability in different regions to resolve similar situations in the future. Perhaps in the process of placement can be affected by any services,” according to the website of the exchange.

Partner at Primitive Ventures Davie Wang (Dovey Wan) reported that failures occurred in a great many Asian markets. For example, one of the users of an unnamed stock exchange was able to buy 45 bitcoins for less than $1. A similar situation happened at the site of CITEX.

Note that in April at the site of BitMEX a lot of users have suffered due to technical problems related to automatic closure of the risky market positions. However, the platform announced that it will reimburse users for all losses.
